The ultimate currency in life is time. And, no matter our status, wealth, intelligence, skills – our time is still limited.

Money and things can be useful, but no one leaves this life wishing they had more wealth or possessions. At the end, we’d give up anything for just a little more time.

As humans, we think we understand time. But, we really don’t. If we did, we wouldn’t so quickly waste it on Facebook, or Netflix, or literally useless things.

St. Jacinta, one of the Fatima seers, reminds us, “If men only knew what eternity is, they would
do everything in their power to change their lives.”

We must also remember that time is one of the greatest gifts we can give someone. More than money, or toys, or cars, or whatever. Time. Spending time together and actually being present.

Time is a gift. We must protect it, cherish it, and use it wisely.

The clock is ticking.

Be the Men,

Mark
