When something doesn’t go our way, when we don’t get what we want, when we make a mistake – all too often, we’re quick to push the blame.
It’s genetics, it’s how we were raised, it’s ‘their’ fault, it’s the culture we grew up in, it’s my boss or the president. I don’t know whose fault it is, but it’s not ours.
And, the truth is – maybe it isn’t our fault. Maybe we are just victims or bystanders.
But whatever got us to this point – the good and the bad – we’re still here. And, we can look back to figure out who’s to blame, or we can look forward and decide what we’re going to do about it.
Whether we’re to blame or not, the buck has to stop here.
It’s time to let the sins of our past or someone else’s past stop affecting our present.
Today’s a new day and a new chance to be better.
Be the Men,
