When we attend Mass, or say our prayers, or sit in front of the Blessed Sacrament, we should keep this in mind: while we are there, there are plenty of people who are not. Seems obvious, right?

This is what I’m getting at.

Our friends, family, deceased loved ones – there are those that we know who have no one to pray for them, or aren’t even praying for themselves.

Prayer is powerful. We need prayers, and our loved ones need ours. Even if it’s just a short prayer during your lunch break, call to mind those in our lives who might not be praying or going to Mass.

It is absolutely essential that we offer our prayers for these people. If not us, then who?

Be the Men,

Mark
